A Special Message to Ron Paul Supporters

HI How ya doin'? So you took the time to click the link eh? That's a good sign
OK, what's my message? Well, I have a project and I need people, and in this case it would be Ron Paul supporters.
The project is a crazy idea I came up with, it involves a protest song. Ron Paul's 2008 Pennsylvania campaign manager
sent it up the line to try and get it as his theme song this time around, but if you hear it you'll probably agree
that would have been unlikely. That gentleman likes the song a little TOO much. So, you might like the song. You might not.
It is a country rock song. Maybe you don't like country rock music. Actually I don't really like country rock music
but this song is in part my response to "God Bless the USA" and all the people who buy into that mentality, which
would be country music loving middle America. Some people don't like country rock but they like the message of the song.
I generally allow people to form their own opinion of the song, but I'll say it is in-your-face, it is impolite and possibly
offensive, and it is meant to be. I didn't have any plans for the song when I wrote it. It was MY message, written for me
and these days you can write a song and put it online for the whole world to hear. But I got a crazy idea. I wanted the song
to sweep the country. I wanted it to be one of those songs you can't escape, like "The Macarena". EVERYBODY knows about
songs like that, even if they don't listen to the radio, and in this case "everybody" would be the police, IRS agents,
DHS agents, and eventually, your favorite politician would hear it. Imagine, you are Barack Obama, or Nancy Pelosi, and someone
says to you "Have you heard that song that is sweeping the country?" and you say "Why no I haven't" and then you hear this.
How demoralizing would that be? Imagine being one of the people who abuses Americans for a paycheck and you find yourself
hearing this song everywhere. That is the ultimate goal. Make these people feel unwanted, unappreciated, and uncomfortable.

So how can this happen? Radio stations aren't going to play music by some nobody (although a few stations have played it).
Well, the people are just going to have to demand that they play it. Lots of people. I sent the song to about 600 radio
stations. I made web pages for each state with contact links or e mail for each station. Now all I have to do is get a zillion
people to clamor for the song. The song has been played on a few stations and I've been interviewed on a couple talk radio
stations. The project has been posted on blogs and podcasts. This isn't going to be easy. I'd say radio stations have gotten
requests for the song, and if they take the time they can figure out what is going on. Even if a program manager likes the
song they will be afraid to play it. Some of them flat out won't want to play it. A radio station in Kentucky cussed me out.
This, of course, is where you come in. Listen to the song, and if it has a message you would like spread over the radio
I have made it as easy as possible for you to try and make that happen. But you are ACTUALLY GOING TO HAVE TO DO IT.
You have to click the links, send the emails, fill out the contact forms, and maybe if you get motivated, make a phone call.
You are going to have to tell other people to do it, and then in a little while, you will have to do it again. Don't take no
for an answer. Everytime the cops raid an organic food producer, or beat the crap out of someone for no reason, every time
a stupid politician does something idiotic or abusive, every time the TSA treats someone like a piece of dirt, go to the site
or get on the phone, and demand the song. Dedicate it to the person who is making you angry if you want to. Make this a social
movement.

So, is this a stupid idea? I believe in it, but it is my idea. Imagine you were a garbage man, and the biggest song in the country
was about how people hate garbage men because they throw their trash cans down the street and make alot of noise at six
in the morning. Do you think maybe you'd take a little better care of people's trash cans, and try to be a little quieter?
You may not agree with me, but you can understand the concept. There are a couple links on my webpage that also explain that
this may not be a dumb idea. It's non violent, it's easy, and you won't get into trouble for doing it. The WORST thing
that can happen is you make some requests and the song doesn't get played. That's the WORST thing that can happen.
The upside is the country gets changed. So what should you do?
HERE IS MY WEBSITE.
It has all the information there is. There is a free download of the song available. MY COUNTRY MY ASS DOT COM. Even that is easy.
I have a Facebook group My Country My Ass, for all the news and occasional action items. Please LIKE it, it motivates me.
Tell people about it, tell people about it, and do it do it do it, and do it again and again. Every time something
pisses you off, which should be plenty. Thank you for your time, did you read this far?
